Welcome

I think of the postings on this blog as pearls I have collected along my professional and personal journey. As you may know, pearls are formed around grains or grits caught in an oyster. Over time I have gathered many bits and pieces of knowledge that I find consistently useful in my work and in my personal relationships. Like the oyster, I have protected those grains of knowledge with my own experiences. Since these pearls, collected from sources on both sides of the globe, have helped me and helped me help others deal with life’s challenges, I feel compelled to share them with you. I would welcome your responses and comments.

Thanks for sending me your blog postings. Congratulations on launching your blog, yet another important way you are making a difference in our community. Even though I’ve heard your presentation to the attorneys and mental health professionals before, I’m looking forward to your presentation at the law school and reading about your future postings.
